FILTRATION

 

Each pool today is offered with the mandatory equipment for filtration. Only in spa pool with sea and mineral water the filtration is lowed and a proportion of water is continuously renewed, but this is done in order to maintain water quality, not treated with pool chemicals.

Filtering has two major components: method of water circulation and filtration itself. From their optimal ratio depends the purity of water. Water in the pool must be visible moving in order to ensure optimal pollution drawing into the system and prevention and removal of any dead zones, and filtering should be sufficient flow to ensure the purity of water.

According to the movement of water the pool can be with vertical or horizontal filtering. The difference is obvious - the swimming pools with vertical water filtration have smooth pool surface and the pool edge is under water, they look finished and very beautiful. Besides aesthetic, the vertical circulation of water provides better quality of water purification and it is recommended for all public swimming pools.

Horizontal filtration with skimmers requires a lower investment, faster implementation and in this option pool is not full up with water, but  about 20 centimeters below the pool edge. In this case, the board is very visible and its design should fit perfectly to the surrounding area. This type of filtration is recommended for not loaded with more regular shape pools, a width of which is not more than 8 meters and for family pools.

Type of filtration as the most widespread is that of sand filters. It is the engine room for the deployment of samozasmukvashta pressure pump and sand filter, made of fiberglass or other material. The filter and pump are the most important facilities in the pool, they should not be saved because the price is usually correlated with their reliability and their class. If the requirements in high purity water are obliged to achieve, there are various specific solutions for filtration. Cartridge filters provide high purity of water and reduce drastically the use of coagulant, but their maintenance and supplies are not justified for private pools.
