BALNEO POOLS - THE HYDROMASSAGE

Under the term spa pools are understood basins with mineral or healthy water aor with water massage devices installed. For the first type  read in our section Balneology while the second one are supplied with hydro massage and air nozzles, which makes similar to therapeutic hydromassage. However, massage has a proven therapeutic effect only when the body is in a fixed position which  condition is difficult to achieve in a pool so that hydro pools rather serve to relax and eliminate stress than physical medicine.
