Aroma (bio) sauna

1.1. Functionality: Herbal sauna is a light sauna and in combination with natural dry leaves of lavender, pine and spruce twigs or other, is really bio for the human body as some call it.
Widely used in the Alto Adige, this has a similar temperature and humidity to the Bio-sauna; the steam and heat (around 50° C) cause the hay and Alpine herbs placed on a special grille to release their beneficial substances. These features create within the sauna an ideal bio-climate for slow heating of the body, inducing beneficial cardio-circulatory gymnastics and a pleasant purification of the respiratory tracts, the cuts and the hair. On account of its invigorating and relaxing features it is one of the best therapies for combating stress and tension. Suitable for all ages.

The time spent in the sauna is usually around 15 minutes, but the low temperature means that it can be prolonged by each person according to discretion and personal sensitivity.

The temperature in the herbal sauna is between 40 and 55°C at the ceiling. A relative humidity is 30 to 40 % . After the sauna, a 30-minute rest is recommended. Bathers lose approx. 8 to 16 g of sweat per minute.
The gentle environment of the herbal sauna prevents overheating the organism and provides optimal relaxation and purification.

1.2.Usage: Put the dry leaves or twigs, together with small amount of water on the cooper plate above the heater and after it is hot, the water evaporates and the wonderful natural fragrance will fill the air. If you put there sumac leaves, people with problem face skin may use this sauna for cure its face and body.
The bathers can stay 10-20 minutes inside, depending on their personal comfort. Taking shower before, is necessary, and cooling after aroma sauna, is obliged. May do three series of courses. Cooling has to be with shower or ice cabin. If the bather is cleaning his face, a scrub wash shall be cleaned with, while taking a shower and after this, the face has to be treated with ice.
The heater has to run at least 40 minutes before the first bather will come in. Working time: 4 hours, then has to be turn on again, if needed.

1.3. Maintenance: Open the sauna door for at least 60 min when is not working. At least once a day clean the benches with sauna disinfectant. Clean with clean humid cloth all the interior and the heater when is not working. Keep clean and fresh.

1.4. Equipment: Follow the provided heater and control unit manuals.

Only touch the heater, while is cold. The scheme of switches off and on on the bar is also attached.
